Just4effect sub boxes and the new owner
Has anyone dealt with the new owner of Just4effect? I'm curious if they're the same quality sub boxes as when Ron was building them.

I didn't realize Ron had sold the business. If you are in the market you should buy one...let the new owner know that you are a member at JF and will write a review regarding him as the new owner. If you get the box and it isn't good let us know and let us know why.

Cool. Please post up here when you get it so we all know. I imagine the quality will be there. Who would take over a respected company just to make junk? But you never know I guess.
Thanks

Ron's boxes rock. I just wish I had gotten the dual 10" sub box for the TJ instead of the single 10" sub box. I want more. I was actually thinking of selling the single box and purchasing the dual box. Let us know how the new boxes are. I am in the market for one too.

Any update? I'm curious to know how you like the box. I'm in the market for one as well.

Im still awaiting shipment of the box. I did request a 1" thick baffle since my sub is 20 something pounds. And I also got the fiberglass under the carpet option to sort of weatherproof the box.
I will try to get pics as soon as I get it in!

I got the single 12" box, i did not order the trunk style because of budget concerns. I asked him to do a 1" thick bottom baffle since its a real heavy sub and a downfiring placement puts some strain. I also opted for the fiberglass under the carpet. I dont plan on getting my interior wet, but better safe then sorry.
My biggest challenge is going to be finding a way to secure the box to the vehicle to prevent theft without having to do major modification or drilling.
