Iphone GPS mapping

I know there's a few apps out there but I just wanted to hear people's opinions.

Many of our trails here are unmapped and unnamed, I would like an app that could record where we've been and allow to view them in a birds eye view style like google earth.

The option to transfer them to my computer would be amazing as well but I guess I could just screen shot them and email.

If it does what you want, Its worth it. The GPS that comes with the IPhone is garbage. One thing to check on, Which is the downfall of phone GPS. Make sure the GPS will work if the phone has no cell signal. A lot of phones need both GPS and cell signal to work. That sucks if you are in a very rural off path area.

In my several vehicles we run ipads, both maxi and minis, with the motion X hd app. The AGPS chip set in the phone and tablets is not very accurate when beyond cell coverage. for this reason we use a direct GPS interface and works amazing. Have traveled to very remote locations with pin point accuracy and real time data. Check out

good luck
