High Freq Wayy To High in a WJ with the Infinity Amp from PO Mods - Fix?

So the PO of my '00 WJ (Larado, 4.7, Infinity Amp) did some stereo mods - which he undid most of before selling - I have been stripping off parts of his install since.

One issue I have had perpetually over the last 5 years of ownership was the tweeters (hi frequencies) have always been wayyyy to high. I have had to lower the Midi and Tweet on the EQ sliders of the head unit to even be able to listen to the stereo.

Any idea what he could have done to make them spike so high?
