Focals are great. I have them in the front of my TJ with the adapter plates. I plan to put 6.5 Focals in the soundbar over Christmas (Infinities came with the rig). Boston Acoustics are also quite nice. My last car had Diamond Audio and they were very crisp. I couldn't find them at my local shop, so I went with Focals which are comparable. MB Quart is another quality speaker. All of which will require listening to determine which one is best for your taste.

I have heard MB Quartz and really liked them, but have been looking at the boston acustics lately but have not heard any yet.....I have also not heard Focals.
Too many choices

I agree that Focals are great. Recently I heard the Boston's and for the money compared to the exotic speakers they sound very good also. It depends on your personal tastes though, and the power you are feeding them.

I know little about this stuff, but agree with this brand. But they are very pricey...at least to me. But their sound is fantastic.

Focal, MB Quart, some say Infinity is okay in their higher-end models. Rainbow is absolutely the best IMHO, but they're like $500/pair

Focals are really great, but make sure you listen to what speaker you like. Some higher-end speakers (coaxial or component both) won't reproduce lower frquencies...because they're expecting to be used with a subwoofer, too. If you're planning on going sub-less, make sure your speaker can reproduce the lower frequencies how you like.
