HELP ME! Interior lights and radio won't work.

Thinking i knew the basics of wiring i decided i was going to put red led strips as interior floor lights on my 98 TJ sport. Trying to make mine different from the from other people i only wanted mine to come on with the doors opened like the stock lights do. So i decided to cut the red and the black wires that go into the two interior floor lights and i attempted to just use crimps to connect the wires to the wires of my led strips. Well now my radio and my dome light dont come on anymore. What do i do? The wires are getting power i checked them. Please someone help me i need my radio.

I'm still having issues. I grounded both black wires using the screw that held the stock bulb in place. All the lights Coe on and the radio and stuff works but my lights do not shut off when the door is closed.
