Help with 2.4L TJ Electric Fan

I have a 2001 2.5L Wrangler and I installed an electric fan out of a 2.4L. I am looking for pictures or diagrams of how the 2.4L electric fan is wired. I have the fan, the two small wire pieces that clip to the fan, and what looks like a fuse holder. I assume I'm missing the rest of the harness and a relay. Is the harness for a 2.4L fan part of another harness, like the headlamps, or a seperate harness that can be purchased or easily removed from another 2.4L Jeep? Also does the relay plug directly into the harness, or is it wired into the fuse/relay box?

Electric Fan with Stock Thermostat?

Is there any way to wire a relay to be triggered using the stock thermostat?
What output does the thermostat send out? Positive, negative, or just adds resistance to the circuit?
If there is no way to use the stock thermostat, are there any easy places to install an aftermarket sender?

Is the stock (OEM) unit an electrical setup ?

If yes then you can use the existing output to activate a relay that in turn would run the fan.

If the OEM setup is not electrical then I don't think so.

The thermostat you get with an electric fan or one you can buy usually work well enough.

My stock fan is mechanical(2001 2.5L), the fan is stock out of a 2.4L TJ.
I want to try to wire something off of the thermostat to trigger the relay, but I don't know what the OEM thermostat output is(I'll have to see if I can find my FSM and check there) and I'm not sure if that would affect the readings on my dash if I tapped into one of those wires.
If I get an aftermarket thermostat, do I just drill and tap a hole? Does it get installed in the engine block or the radiator.
Thanks

I say this one, since it has the most posts so far. I really want to witness the marvelous stalking abilities of JF members again though, so I will be watching all 3.

This is one of my best friends who is trying to make it in the music industry. Any kind of support she can get is always appreciated. I listen to country and rock far more than techno, but I still like her stuff and I'm still incredibly proud of her.

From the questions you are asking I'd say you shouldn't play with a fan you don't own. If the fan works pay for it.
