Headlight Issues

Driving around the other night with my highbeams on everythings good, then all of a sudden the headlights cut out. Only lights left on were the marker lights and instrument cluster lights. After about a minute the headlights came back on and worked fine for lowbeam and highbeam. Any ideas on what might cause this?

Probably a loose wire. Check all connections also make sure the fuses are seated fully might be a loose bulb

Mine and my moms (both 94 YJ 4.0) do that when i have both lights on (holding the switch back so hi/low are both on) theyll turn off for a few seconds then come back on, no clue why.

Sounds like nothing more than a defective/burned headlight switch.
