Green light on rear view mirror

My Wrangler Unlimited has a green light on the rear view mirror. Can't find anything about it in the manual.

Does not appear to change anything at night when I turn it on or not get glare from cars behind me either way.

If its the same as my Grand Cherokee it's the auto dim feature. So if you're turning it on and off now you won't see anything. Wait until tonight and when someone is behind you with their headlights on turn it off. You should see it go from a greenish hue to clear.
