Fuel Gauge Not Working

I have a '99 Sahara and when I bought it (about a year ago), the fuel gauge was not working. The prev. owner said he thought the sending unit was bad. I bought a new pump and installed and still gauge doesn't work. We traced the wires out to a plug under the hood which leaves there and some wires go to the fuse box and some over to the driver side where it goes into a plug or box that goes through the firewall. My question is this. At all of these junctions it seems wire colors change. Is there somewhere I can get a detailed wiring schematic for the '99 TJ? I don't mind spending the money, just want to make sure I get what I need.
