I have an 06 TJ Rubicon with about 145K miles on it. It keeps dying after running for about 15 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes it won't go 10 seconds. Runs fine, then loses oil pressure, sputters for a second, then dies. It starts right back up. Dies again. I've already changed out the crank position sensor, cam sensor, and synchronizer. More of the same.
I've been fairly good with the maintenance since I've owned it.
Pull the harness plugs out of the computer and check the pins for corrosion. Also, Chevy the ground strap that goes from the valve cover to the firewall right in the middle of it behind the motor.
EDIT: what does it idle at and does the idle go up prior to dying? Any knocking? Leaks at the intake that may open once the engine warms would cause this.
I will check these at the beginning of next week. All the codes have been corrected, but they show again, after the engine shuts off. There aren't any noises, etc. when the engine shuts off. It just loses power. Then, the faults return.
