Dual USB Charger Socket

If any of you guys get Jp then I'm sure you read Randy's Electrical Corner. Anyway a few months back he had an article about a dual USB charger socket. I was looking for a way to charge my USB devices when I remembered this. Has anybody mounted one in their jeep or done anything like it? Thanks in advance.

i just use one of the plug in 2 port USB plugs. you can buy them cheap off the web or even pick up one at walmart.

Yep, that, or when I put in an aftermarket stereo I got one with a couple of usb ports in it

I added one about 6 weeks back. So far it works great.

Here is a pic of the port installed. I did not take any when I put it in. As you can see, I added it below my engine temp guage, and just above and between my fm radio and climate controls. You have to look up under the overhang to see the port, but it installed pretty easily there. I ran the hot wire to a blue sea systems fuse panel I installed under the hood where the oem jack used to be located.
