There's all kinds of systems out there, and you can drop a pretty penny on them.

A simple system like that is all anyone ever needs in all honesty. My issue is that I'm terribly forgetful and would surely leave the switch on and end up stuck somewhere. Haha

Ok, so I'm in jeopardy if I leave the key on. Right? Unless I wire it to a two way rocker switch or put the relays in.

for that reason, usually after too many beers, its possible to forget to turn off the solenoid switch. i use bright red LED rocker for easy, fast visual reference. i did however, power the system/supply off the aux battery so in the remote chance i leave it on, as it draws down eventually low voltage will trip the solenoid. or at least in theory, yet both will be drawing down in that scenario. the goal when i build systems or help other rigs out, is to engineer it as simple as stupid-- KISS, so it can be addressed in the field if necessary.
