Dome light switch

I bought a 97 wrangler in this past February. This is my second wrangler so I kind of know how the wiring goes for the cabin lights. This one, however, has a soundbar with a dome light. My first jeep was a 98 wrangler and the pull switch for the headlights would twist to adjust the dimmer and if I went all the way to the left it would control my dome lights instead of them turning on when I opened the door. I assumed the previous owner wired it like that. How do I get my interior lights in my 97 to turn on using the pull out switch. I can't figure this one out because the sound bar has a separate housing under the steering column. The way it is set up now, if I take the doors off I have to pull out the fuse behind the glove box, but then when it gets dark I can't see anything inside when I need to. Does anyone have a solution to this, I am definitely all ears.

you could wire the door pins to relays and a switch to kill the pins instead of pulling the fuse...
