Dash camera

My apologies if not the right forum for this but I guess Dash Cam comes under electronics.

I am interested in getting a dash camera. There are a few on the internet but they all make their product look the best. Any ideas on make or model?

I looked at GoPro but they are expensive. Any other ideas?

http://www.carcameradirect.com/index.html - I found this website....looks good and not expensive either. But still a bit skeptical since I haven't been able to find anyone who bought this camera.

I've wondered the same, but once the GoPro caught popularity it's hard to find a recommendation otherwise.

They are great cameras and have so many accessories. The price is pretty competitive for the camera's ability and performance. Plus if you tend to let rain get in they are weather resistant.

Since the GoPro Hero3 just came out a short time ago you might find a great deal on the previous models somewhere. They are a terrific camera that has endless possibilities.

Hi, have you finally got the dash camera? what brand you are using?
I am also about to get one but have no idea how to choose a decent dash camera, what is Go Pro? I just found this one http://www.szswill.com/car-camera-hd...mera-d310.html which seems not bad, all features are great to me, very mini size, the only regret is that it is too small to have a LCD display for live reviewing
