cigarette lighter problem

Okay so this is the best place I could think of to post this.

But I recently ruined my cigarette lighter some how (I believe).

A couple buddies and I were off reading the other day and I plugged a 1,000,000 candlewatt spotlight into my cigarette lighter. It wouldn't cut on, so I figured the light was shot or something. So later I realize it will no Lo.get charge my phone or I pod.
Then I got home the next day and pulled all the fuses under the dash just to check them and all were fine.

So basically I'm lost and cannot figure out how to get it to work or what's wrong.

Any suggestions?

And thanks in advance

First thing is to get behind the lighter and test for power. The contacts in the cig lighter may be bad.

If you have power off the wires, then buy a new cig lighter, hook it up and yiur good to go.

If you dont have power off the wires in back of the cig lighter then test the fuse to see if it has power. If the fuse shows power, then you have an issue in wiring somewhere from the fuse to the lighter.

If none of these work, let me know.
