Choosing an Amp

I have a plan to put two Audiobahn AW831T rated at 200 watt rms in my Yj fenderwell. I don't know to choose a amp. There are too many variables for me to learn. If there is a cheaper option that would be great.

I might want to do this if it is ok.

Amp

My goal is to power the subs + two small 5.25s (PIONEER TS-G1340R)

I think for the money, the A8002T amp you chose is a pretty good choice. It'll push 200W RMS to each speaker...perfect match.

The AW831T is an 8" 4-ohm DVC sub (at least all of the information I see on them is, if not, specify). So with two of them you're looking for an ideal amp output of 400Wx1 (RMS) @ 4-ohms.

The A6004T is a 4-channel amp which puts out 75W RMS x 4. This is not the amp you're looking for.

The A8002T would be ok if the subs weren't DVC subs or were 2-ohm DVC subs but with them being 4-ohm DVC subs, it's not a good match either.

The A4002T would be a perfect match. It's bridged output is 400Wx1 @ 4-ohms so it's a perfect match for your two subs.

Not upped you, just a minor check. You just didn't see if the subs were DVC or not otherwise you were right on. :-)
