check this install out
ok.. finally got my subs installed.. 2 8" JL Audio subs in tuffy boxes.. the amp is under one of the boxes.. the boxes are on 3" metal standoffs insulated from vibration and secured to the wheel well on 1/2" rubber jack nuts... yes.. the amp wiring isnt very neat.. come on.. give me a break.. sounds great though.. no rattle even when the boxes are fully loaded w/ tools and recovery gear.. gonna put a strip of carpet around the base to cover the gap and hide the amp from theives..
