Allan,

Here are 3 new pics that I hope will help ya. Just go back to my photo album. The first one (number 9 in the album) is the PL-259 connector. It's the one inside the cab, but they're the same on both ends. The next one is the PL-259 connector and the Quick Disconnect seperated. The last one is a pic of the antenna setup. The coax screws into the stud mount that's mounted to the bump stop. You can't see it in the pic, but you just screw it in. Then the spring screws into the stud mount followed by the antenna screwing into the spring. If you don't do the spring, then the antenna screws into the stud mount. It's really simple. HTH

Mel

Jeep with stuff.

Everyone said to check out this place called Bronco One on 32nd st. just sound of Bell. People in the groups said that they were awesome and would help out alot... I also learned that Firestik is a Phoenix based company... My grandpa said that I could use one of his CB and then just buy all of the antenna stuff...What run are you planning on doing. I am going on the Aug 17th at 6:00am to Crown King... Should be fun...

AllanAlxndr,

How's it going?

Did the CB get in OK ?

Where did you mount it ?

How did you run your coax ?

Let the site know, maybe we need the help too.

It's going good... I mounted the CB under the heater controls... Then mounted the Antenna on the rear pass side quarter Panel... Ran the Coax threw the tailight, then into the rear fender and up to the front... Works great... Other details are in Dans, thread in the General Discussion...
