Center Console

I am very interested in installing a sub into a center console but first I have to get the console. I drive a 2003 SE without a center console. I have seen the factory ones online and also have seen the Tuffy rear half consoles. The question I have is how hard is it to instal a center console when one did not come from the factory. And will the rear half Tuffy one work since the literature says it is a replacement for the factory one, which I do not have? Thanks in advance.

The console bolts to the floor so I don't see a problem throwing the tuffy in there. At worst you might have to pickup a mounting bracket of some kind from a stealership or salvage yard but I even doubt that.

nah...just line it up and drill some holes if you have to. you won't need any mounting brackets.
