Im sure this has been discussed, but how do you tune a CB radio antenna??
and whats the best configuration??

search the forum for "swr meter" and you will find a ton of information such as how to use the commonly used radio shackl swr meter.
if you can't find anything here for whatever reason try google
shouldn't take more than bout 2 seconds of your time to find step-by-step directions.

I found the info on Firestik's website to be more helpful than the instructions that came with my swr meter. Here is a link to Firestik's tech docs.

This might help get ya started:

I got my SWR meter at Radio Shack, I think for $35 or so. Local 4x4 club might have one you can borrow. Truck stops usually have CB shops that can tune the antenna for a fee.
