I know this has been asked many times. i got my hands on a full size CB radio, the size of a regular radio at least. Where would you go about installing one of these? i've looked into those overhead consoles from tuffy, but they cost upwards of 200$. any help is appreciated.

I built a bracket for my Galaxy, I'll take some pics and post em' up. It uses the the tie down bracket on the windsheild to bolt to.

That sounds like a good place. Are you going to post here, or elsewhere?

that looks awesome, you removed the footman loop(or whatever its called), right? i got that plastic thing back there, probably would have to modify somehow so i can still have the sunshades clip in.

Yeah I took out the loop(probably never fold down the windshield) and got machine screws of the proper size. Used some blue loctite to keep them from vibrating out and stripping.

I did the same thing as clmsnfan123 for my galaxy. If you mount it in front of the shifter make sure you can get into fourth and fifth gear before drilling the holes, I figured that out the hard way.
