i have a cobra 29 NW LTD classic night watch cb radio in my jeep. it has a pa function swith.
im getting a pa horn from radio shack but am not sure how to hook it up.
Do i also need to get an amplifier if i DO NOT want it very loud?

im not entirely sure how it is on a cobra unit, but on my uniden you literally just plug the PA wire into the plug-in on the back of the CB. one wire, no amp.

Usually ether two wires to hook up or one mini phono plug. No need for a amp.

1/8" headphone JAck is what you shove the white wire into and ground the black.

No need for an amp as your CB can only legally handle 7watts, and as for volume control, I actualy think you may need an amp.

Which PA Horn did you buy and where did you mount? this 100w 50w RMS one is gianormous
