J/K man. Don't do that!! You could bump it up to a larger fuse, 5amps more should do it, since you now have a slightly larger load on the circuit

Do not connect the cb power wire thru the fuse block. Run a direct line to the battery with a fuse in line. You'll have to be sure to remember to shut off the radio, but this will give you a better power supply w/o any possible interference from any other electrical devices or engine static.

Even if you leave the CB on, it won't draw enough power to kill the battery even if you leave it for a few days.
