CB Microphone Plastic Hanger Relpacement?

I have a Uniden Bearcat Ergonomic microphone in my Rubicon that the "tab" on the back that it hags from has broken and now it does not stay on the metal hanger slot. Can this be replaced? If so, where do i get the part? I am trying to not have to replace the whole mic. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

Thanks!
John

On some microphones the hanger tab is replaceable, and on some it is not. The tab is probably not an item that Uniden keeps in stock in their warehouse. Buying a replacement microphone is probably going to be easier than tracking down a $1 part with $9 shipping charges. Any microphone can be re-wired to work and most CB shops and Truck Stops sell pre-wired microphones. Uniden also will sell you a microphone.

First, open up your mic to see if it has a replaceable clip. If it does try a radio shop for one off a junk mic, or even a pawn shop/thrift store, should be able to find one for a buck or two.
