CB & Antenna Mount on WK's

Can anyone profile information or pictures were they have mounted their CB and Antenna on their WK? I've done a google imagine search and haven't come up with anything. I did find one or two on a XK, but wanted to see some pics on an WK.

My main concern is the antenna mount.

OK I need some help guys. If I purchase this:

WK Antenna Mount [S4CWK002] : Saguaro 4x Components.com| Bumpers | Tire Carriers | Rock Sliders | Jeep Components

What FireStik parts would I need? I've got an email into both Firestik and Saquaro4x but waiting to hear back from them.

I emailed Saquaro about their shackle mounts for the WK today and they were very prompt in response. Im sure you will hear back from them today...

Oh and good looking out man, Ive never heard of them and they actually had the part I was looking for, for cheaper than I was expecting.

But back to CB antenna talk....

There are a few threads on this WK forum about CB antenna mounts... Look around and you should be able to find them. Can't be more than a month or so since the last one, which had pics and such in it.

Anyone have pictures of where they mounted their CB in their WK? How was it wired?

I have a problem. As I mentioned in my 8th post I only ordered:

WK Antenna Mount by Saguaro 4x Components Part Model # S4CWK002
Fire-Flex SINGLE ANTENNA COAX with PL-259/FireRing Termination Part Model # K-8R18
Firestik II Antenna Part Model # Model: FS3-B

It was to my understanding that was all I needed.

I've since got all the parts in and apparently I am lacking something but have no clue what.

Does the plastic insert come out of the Firering?

I assume is does because my Firestik will not go through the Firering.

And basically these are all the parts I have for mounting.

I am missing parts...or better yet I did not order something apparently. Because I see no way this is going to work with just having the parts shown.

I'd much rather take it some place and have them install everything at this point. I looked for a CB shop in my area and have not found any.

I'd also get a spring... Firestik has springs which incorporate the stud for the Fire Ring cable. Check their website for the P/N.

Yeah, you're missing the actual stud part of the mount. Its what goes into the hole and provides the 3/8 inch thread for the antenna to screw into.

Thats a nice looking mount too.
I just did a body mount on my WJ a few months ago. I plan on having the WJ for a while, so i didnt mind the hole in the side... heck, i'm going to drill a few in my roof anyway.
