CB advice

Ok, I dont know much at all about Cbs but i would like to get one. I was looking at this (yes i know its cheaper, dont really want to spend a ton on a cb set up right now).

what else do I need to set this up and could someone give me a quick runthrough or guide of what needs to be done to set up a CB

this link helped me a ton in getting started on my cb experiance. http://www.links4jeeps.com/writeups/BasicCB/cable.php. I would recommend going with the cable mentioned in that link. As for cb and antenna I got the whole setup a uniden 510 pro xl (new like you didn't need anything fancy) 9 feet of coaxil cable and a 4 foot firestick with stainless steel mount and quick d/c for about 30 bucks. Ebay is your friend. anyhow hope this helps.

cobra 19 DX IV ($55)

4 ft Firestik II (27.99)

coax / fire ring (17.99)

spring (11.99)

tail light bracket (28.95)

I also bout a PA speaker, external speaker and mounting bracket form walcott cb
