Camera

Yeah I know it sounds relly weird but all the time when i'm on the trails I find myselfe second guessing certian moves because of clearence concerns... I don't have a huge lift and i have a t-case drop so that alwayse worries me..

I am thinking of a small bullet type waterproof ir/low light camera setup for under the Jeep.. I don't know quiter where I would mount it.. possibly in place of my current rear running light... but perhapse soemthing like This

Has anyone here seen something like this? Also opinions/sugestions

Thanks!
~James

i've actually seen this done before - it was on a competion jeep and they mounted this HUGE survalence camerca (those beige ones) right off the sides pointing at the tires so they could spot themselves.

i know it can be done, but the problem would be that you need it it be:

1: water proof
2. bullet proof
3. mount it in a safe place

and 4....its gonna get dirty, so you won't see anything unless you keep cleaning the lens.

i would say invest in some skid protection instead. its easier than well, getting an inverter, screen, hooking it up, finding a safe place for the camera, making it weather proof. its a good idea - but it would be real hard to do under the car.

EDIT - on second thaught look into thos "spy" cameras that are like the size of a button.... they may help.
