brake lights are not working just right

i have had my tj for about 4 years and i think i have had this problem for the whole time. anyway when i depress the break the left break light is noticeably lighter than the right and the reverse light comes on. also when i turn the left blinker on the break light and reverse light blink. i have replaced both my reverse and break lights in going to replace my fuses today but i just dont know whats going on.........help please........

Sounds like the typical case of bad grounds. Disassemble the lamp housing and inspect the grounds for corrosion or loose connections. Also, check for corrosion in the bulb sockets.

the bulb sockets looks immaculate ill take off the housing in a couple of days its raining so im not going to do it today
