Battery is fine but wont turn over

Ive got a 05 manual rubicon, when i turn the key all the lights, radio etc turn on but after that..no crank, nothing. Ive been reading that it could be a ignition switch. Anyone ever had this happen?
For the past couple days when the jeep was running it wouldn't turn off with the usual turn. Id have to push the button in for it to turn off.

if you hear a "click" when you turn the ignition to start it, it could also be the starter. if not, then i'd start with the ignition switch. perhaps it's just a loose wire and an easy fix. otherwise, it may be the starter solenoid which can be a little more expensive. good luck to you.
