battery? ?????

Hey guys im wondering about a good battery i already have 4 lights but now im looking to get a decent stereo wit 2 12 subs looking at around 1,000 watts im going to up grade my alt also anyone know a good cheap battery i was thinking marine but i don't know much bout batterys also i am adding more lights at some point thanx

My vote is the sears platinum p4. Size 34 I believe. Great battery basically rebadged Odessey for less money if you buy during sears sales days. I've seen them go for $160-$230 depending on the time of year.

If you are running this with the engine off yes you need a good storage battery and sears is one of the better ones. However when adding circuits to operate when the engine is running look at the alternator output current. Besides improve your power and ground cables.
