Bad Multiplex Splitter Box?

02 Grd Cherokee with factory installed RB1 head unit, CD changer ans Sirius receiver. Just lost the use of my CD changer [no sound, but works mechanically] and Sirius [no sound] AM/FM works fine. I was told buy the so called 5***** Jeep service manager that i may have a bad MULTIPLEX SPLITTER BOX????? any thoughts??? Thanks.

Sounds right...

They all run through and connect up in the Multiplex box.

Shop around and fix it on your own... Part number 5066202AC. Last I looked they were around $40.

Good luck,
