Anyone know who's build this is?

...and how I can contact them? I want to do the same thing in my Cherokee but I'm not sure if they've used a 12 or 10...and I'm also curious what their measurements are...thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

Well, I'm kind of in the process of doing that...I guess with all the fiberglass work and everything I'm looking for a couple things to speed the process up a bit...kind of like those TJ front speaker brackets...some people figure out how to make them themselves and some people just go straight to ebay and buy them.

It's very esy to figure out who it is, by purusing the root of the site http://www.chalacha.com you see the guys name is Chad Champneys, by looking that domain up on whois.net this is confirmed, and you get his email address.

No need to apologize...and I certainly appreciate the kudos. This was my first run in with ed and I'm impressed...especially for the price

I definately wish i had considered elemental for my subs, i bought a pair of rockford fosgates for about 60 apiece and could have done the ed's for just over a hundred, woulda been worth it i think

Well, I've got the one ed 10, and I also have one rockford 12...I think I'm gonna actually go with the rockford 12 in this case...I'm thinking if I build the box out far enough, with the amp I have it should put out a little more than the ed 10...maybe?

I have never liked how one 10 sounds, it just bottoms out to easy and isnt quite punchy enough. Which rf is it, stage 1, 2?

Those ed subs are unreal, but im not sure if any 10 can match the sound of a single twelve, especially Rockford Fosgate, which are notorious for being LOUD

I've got a single JL 10 in my Wrangler and it sounds really nice...but the space in a Wrangler is so limited that coupling a JL 10 with a JL 250/1 amp puts out really nice sound. A Cherokee on the other hand is another story, there's lots of room in the back obviously...so I think a 12 will be much better. I believe the RF I have is a stage one...I bought it about 4 years ago...so it's got some use in it...but it still sounds really nice. I just figure if it doesn't sound as nice as I want it to once I get the box built then I'll bite the bullet and buy an ED 12"...

i dont know what you guys are smoking but it must be good. its hard to beat a 10" sub when it comes to clarity and sound quality. i really havent heard a good sounding 12". people that buy 12's and 15's only want loud bass and not a good sound. hell, i would rather have a 15 then a 12.

I've heard some 12's and even 13's that put up a good fight for clarity. But 15's, nah.. Not unless packed with supporting smaller subs for speed. And then ya. But... Anyhow, 12's can be extremely fast... All things considered, the same 10' should be faster but all too often they aren't (equal that is). I generally stick to 10's myself. But there are a few select ones I like larger like JL W7's.. the 13 is just sick... fast and crisp... I'd use that one... But it's just an example.
