On the wall inside the Tuffy rear trunk behind the seat.

not trying to steal your thread, but what about some placement of speakers that you still have some trunk space, not that we have that much to begin with

1200w Bostwick under the rear seat. JL Power Wedge box fits perfectly behind the rear seat. It doesn't move at all while rock crawling. Holds my Kenwood 12.

I have two alpine V12's under my rear seat. One to power the soundbar, one to power the subs.

I want to flip them around and bolt them to the underside of my seat, bcause I plan on getting a pitbull soon and want to take the rear seat/subs out anytime I have him with me.

I've ordered and am waiting for the new Alpine amp that goes in behind the DIN receiver. I think it's the KDP-445. Seems like they've had a delay bringing it to market.

Anything under the seats, or behind the seats is a no-go as far as I'm concerned. You never know when:

Everyone in our group that day except the one guy on 42s would have wasted an amp anywhere on the floor or on the side of the tub near the floor.

Got any more info? I did a quick Google search, and turned up nothing...
Thanks! Sounds interesting...

Does anyone have a Marine Grade Amp and have experience with "water testing" it? Will it survive a "dunk test"?

dunno anything about marine grade amps, but heres a JL audio link to them: http://www.bethel-marine.com/JLAUDIO_M4300.htm

my buddy has a Sony Xplode amp, and it blew three times (good warranty from best buy!), and his trunk had a slight leak when it rained, but nothing like a Jeep would see in one off-roading trip or a light shower storm.

it wont corrode with high humidity or saltwater stuff like if you were on a lake or the ocean but if it gets doused it will still short/fry it

Is there any room behind the dash for a small amp. Theft and rain leave that as the only real option for me it seems.
