alternators

I have a 97 jeet tj 4 banger and I'm looking to but in a bigger altenator . anyone know where to get a good one and does it require changing belts or will it just pop in with no modifications.If anyone could give me a hand it would be appreciated.


97 Jeep TJ 4 Banger
Poison spyder flatfenders,banks exhaust system,flex-a-lite fan,AR23 rims with bfg's and lots more to come in the future

www.quadratec.com sells a Mean Green High Output Alternator, that yields a 140amp charge for $346.95

Or you can get a stock 2002 TJ alternator which gives a 117amp charge. Not sure how much a dealer would price one though.


Just some ideas.

at www.4alterstart.com they sell one that is $149 and puts out 165 amps at 1600 rpm

98 jeep grand cherokee limited very nice a new project in the making "Love the jeep"

k&n gereation 2 intake and killer sound system! So far

*just totaled* 93 jeep grand cherokee
k&n gereation 2 intake, gibson exhust, low temp thermostat and killer sound system
