Aftermarket Stereo w/ Factory Sub??
I’m thinking of installing my sony MD player in my jeep. I have the factory 7-speaker system with the factory sub in the center counsel.
I was wondering if anyone has installed an aftermarket stereo with the factory sub…and more importantly how it sounds? I love the way the factory system sounds, and I’m afraid that with the aftermarket stereo the sub will sound like crap. If it matters, I believe that the aftermarket stereo is rated at 50w X 4. Thanks for any info. -Matt

I installed an aftermarket radio and it sounds even better since it now puts out more watts than the factory head unit. I ordered mine from Crutchfield.
