I drove my Jeep to the store yesterday and when I got back to it, it wouldn't start. The battery and starter are fine and it's getting power everywhere, so I've done some research and asking around and have concluded it's either my neutral safety switch (reverse lights have never worked either) or crank positioning sensor. I have the option to take out my NSS and "cross the wires" or run a wire to bridge the connection. I'm not sure what is meant by these solutions, so if somebody could explain it to me that would be nice..
I thought of running a wire from the battery to a switch and then to the starter, but I'm unsure if I would need to remove the wires that are already connected to the starter.
Any ideas are welcome. I need a fix that is going to last a while because this is my daily driver that I need tomorrow, so any pointers on these procedures and what would be best for my Jeep would be great.
Sorry if this was a repost. I'm still sort of new to the forums...
