7 speaker vs 5 speaker: where are the extra 2 speakers?

I'm trying to figure out where the 'extra' two speakers are mounted in the 7 speaker setup - can anyone tell me?

I'm trying to plan my stereo setup for my '06 (being shipped to me, can't 'see it' right now) and would like to use 5.25" in the dash (via the adapter plates) but I can't figure out where the other set is, and what size they are. I haven't found specs anywhere as to sizes, etc.

I'd like to replace everything in the stock locations, except the sub which I'll build into the rear seat, a la 33 engineering/surgical, along with an RB1 w/ ipod and Sirius.

I'm also considering getting a couple of the tweeter pods from a JK dash to install separates (5.25") in the front, vs coaxial, for a little better imaging.

Any enlightenment from the resident audiophiles would be appreciated... Thanks in advance!

- Sarge

My guess is 2 in dash, 2 in sound bar, 2 tweeters and a sub.

Sarge,

The dash speaker pods are component speakers, which are counted as two. The woofer (mid woofer?) is a 4" and I think (not 100% sure) the tweeter is 3/4". The tweeter is located right above the 4" mid woofer.

The two dash pods are considered by jeep to be separates
4 Dash
1 center console 6.5 in sub
2 pod speakers
