6x9 soundbar?

Does anyone know where I can get a 6x9 soundbar for a TJ. I found one on ebay a couple years ago for my last TJ but I just got another one and want to put it back in. I can't seem to find one anywhere? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Well, first question would be why do you really want one? The sound bar is far too close to your head for a speaker that size.. It would be too strongly one-sided...

But anyhow, the factory bar can be modified to accept a 6x9 if done carefully. As for aftermarket bars, I don't recommend them simply due to the lack of stealth factor... Plus the simple fact that the factory bar was reinforced metal which is about the best bar you're going to find... Rubberize the inside, polyfill it and mod it to accept what ever you're going to stuff into it... It's a great bar. And no aftermarket bars I've seen yet can perform as well as them anyhow... Go figure...

Yup the 6*9's are a bit loud, but I made em fit no problem. Just be careful and work smart and it was easily done!!

Well when i did it in my last tj, I mounted the bar near the rear of the jeep, so it's not right in your ear. I find it sounds much better and you can make it louder. I ended up buying 6 1/2 components today anyway, so it really doesn't matter at this point
