Hello!
My husband and I are looking to buy a Liberty in the next few months, and I have a question about the 6-cd stereo that's available as an option from the factory. My main question is if it has a line-in jack on the face of the stereo? I have an iPod and would love to be able to just plug it in to the stereo system rather than rely on an FM-transmitter do-hicky. If anyone has a Liberty with the factory-installed 6 cd-player stereo, I am curious to know!
Thanks!
Ali

Most auto makers do not even begin to think of providing such conveniences as external inputs on their factory stereos. Even though such things are becoming extremely common on aftermarket units.

Sadly, if you want anything more than just CD, tape or Sirius satellite radio, you will have to use add-on devices like FM modulators or replace the factory unit with an aftermarket one.

Belkin makes a great little device for the iPod that plugs into the iPod (or any audio device) and transmit's it's signal via FM so that you can listen to it from ANY vehicle. (Rental, multiple home vehicles, etc...)

Apple makes one also but it is more expensive and larger. The Belkin one is very small.
