4x4sPOD install write up with photos

This past weekend I finally finished the install of my sPOD switch unit.
It's a switch pod that mounts to the windshield frame and has 6 switches in it to power accessories.
The thing is a work of art and doesn't look like a cheezy aftermarket add-on gadget. It's really well designed.

If you are looking for a central place to mount all of your accessory switches with easy wiring, this is it.

Here's my write up with photos:

Just checked out your write up. Is there really that much plastic in a newer TJ? It was hard to picture what you were doing since the interior is clearly much different.

That's really the only difference.

The older TJs just ave a small strip of plastic trim, newer TJs, it's a big trim piece that goes all the way up around the frame.

www.4x4spod.com is where I got the switch pod from.

In a subsequent project, I installed the Source Relay module:

Very nice. I'd love to own one of these units some day. But I'd need some aux lights and lockers first.

What are you using the center dial for?

Yeah, when I need some switches I'm definitely going this route, looks good.

P.S.- Your engine is spotless. Can't seem to get/keep mine so nice.

The outside looks like a show car when its waxed up but then you pop the hood haha

The SPOD and Source were one of the best things I have done to my Jeep.
