I don't know about that one, but Sirgcal has some really nice plans for an in seat sub if you don't mind making your own. I built one for my TJ and it works great. Heres a link. http://www.sirgcal.com/ click on jeep projects.
And of course a picture. ![]()

Mine's in the center console, where the stock sub/amp combination used to be. The stock grating seems to be providing plenty of airflow, and the amp is very well protected from occasional rain/prying eyes.
You have to look very carefully at my Jeep to see any wires or other signs of upgrade. Spyderbyte

The 33-eng box works ok but it's not very comfortable. Mine is designed for more seating surface so the edge of the box isn't as noticable. Theirs is mimixed for fast-out the door-type construction instead of maximized for efficency and use. But it does work ok for a sub box... Though if you build it yourself, mine also has the - I did it - feeling to it. Though I also build them to order (long backlog right now).
My amp is under the driver's seat also as you can see from my website.

x3 on SigGCal's subbox. I have (or had
) zero mechanical ability or tools. I was able to build this box slowly over a couple of weekends. I bought a jigsaw for about $30 bucks. It looks like an 8th grade shope project but thanks to liquid nails and silicon it all came together pretty nice. Oh and it sounds awesome, real tight and punchy. I have put mny daughters child seat and son't infant carrier on there and everything fits/sits fine. I also hauled two buddies to lunch one day, they are both north of 200 pounds and everything was fine. Follow the instructions closely and take your time. It will come out much better than the 33 design. The only hickup was my fault for getting a sub just a dang too tall. SirG (and others) can recommend a shallow sub that will fit just fine. Mine is a Rockford Fosgate that I got on sale (w/amp) so it was too good a deal to pass up. I ended up making a "ring" out of some leftover MDF to attach the sub to. Came out fine and once I put the box in the seat it looks fine. I put my amp under the rear seat under the drivers side. I can reach behind me and adjust the settings if I need to. When I have my top down I place my window roll on top of it to hide/protect it. Where I live and where I work, crime is not an issue, but depending on where you live, etc. You might want to hide it better. My AMP wouldn't fit inside the center console, nor under the drivers seat, but, hey, it works for me. Good Luck. You can't beat the sound and there really is no better place to put a sub. |

What's the best 10" sub for that setup, by the way. I forgot to ask you SirGCal when we emailed each other.
I want to run dual 10"s with a HELL of a punch. Amp as well. |
