2000 XJ Fuel gauge issues

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport, about 35,000 miles ago I had to replace my fuel pump. Ever since then my fuel gauge has been temper mental, sometimes its working, but most of the time it is off, which makes it very hard for me to travel anywhere far away from home, because I have to count the miles I have driven to know when my next fill up is. If anybody could give me some advise, I would be so grateful.

Inspect the wire plug and wires at the gas tank for corrosion or damage. If you bought a a cheap crappy AirTex fuel pump, they are well known to quickly fail. Always buy a genuine Jeep or Bosch fuel pump for your Jeeps.

According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, AR-15 sporting rifles account for nearly 20% of all U.S. firearms sales.
