Jeep is awesome!! Are you happy you went with the 7'' lift? Do you feel top heavy? how is the on road performance? I want to run 35's but I'm not sure if I want the 5.5'' or the 7''

I am happy with my 7 inch but ever one seems to lean towards the 5.5 but I would go with the 7 inch again in a heart beat were only talking a 1.5 ride height difference between the to! Do I feel top yah but what lifted suv is't? I used to be on 5.5 short arms and I feel just a stable now with the 7 inch kit as I did with the 5.5! But to each there own and thanks goofy I really like ur build to!

ive still never been to walker valley, thats to you guys what evans and elbe are to the south end guys.

looks like similar trails tho, technicality wise, rocks, trees, good old NW wheeling

rock sliders and front end recovery are next for me, along with curing dw which seems to be ongoing.

i like all the 5.5 vs 7'' discussion here, i myself am super happy at 3.5'' but 2'' spacers and long arms may be a down the road upgrade.

thanks man and the jeep did really well this weekend I did't have to winch or even get pulled once like all xjs there did ! I am going back up next sunday on a whidbey4x4 club run and I am hopeng we split into two group so the smaller guys can go one way and use built guys can go are are own way! we spent most of the day pulling the newbie/stockish rigs around but I still had fun!

here are a couple of the guys that slowed us down! I wander why were spent all day on one trail lol!

oh yeah and this guy kept hanging us up he flopped his rig then blew a tire out! lol

When it comes down to it I might go 7'' depends on the finances this time next year i guess. I need tires in about a year so thats when I'm going bigger. Ill just keep an eye on your sweet jeep and see how you like the 7'' in a few months.

hah yeah i had some cooling issues with the xj. on one trail last year in july with it being 105 degrees, i was doing a hill called ski-jump that was about a 35 degree climb on loose dirt and then you had to bump up a 1ft tall ledge, i had to bump the ledge and bounce it off the rev-limiter and it got up but pegged 260 degrees and had to let it cool down and the guy behind me ended up rolling so it was convenient lol. his was a full buggy and no injuries so it was ok haha
