ZJ_Richie's Build Thread

Since the great increase in build threads, I decided to finally contribute.
After owning my zj for about 3 years with minimal upgrades, which included; magnaflow cat and muffler, clarion cd player and big bad 235/75 general grabber at2's. I decided I wanted a little more from it.
Sitting in stock form at the slopes after watching downhilll mtb races

To compliment the exhaust I went with a K&N intake that I got from a jf member and added an amsoil filter/prefilter combo

I got a new mag lite kit, so finally mounted that on the seat rails.

After gathering lift pieces(complete pro comp lift, 2 in spacers, jks disco's, front and rear adj. trac bars, rugged ridge crossover sterring)
Here it is still with stock wheels and tires

Then I mounted the wheels and tires and had the alignment done.(hoping the front springs would sag a little, rear isolators have been reinstalled to level it out. Pics to come)

Next I found out that a jf member was selling a 5.9 rack so I bought that, painted it and installed it.

Since then I have been working on little things here and there. I fixed some rust on my rear hatch using rust encapsulator and bed liner.

Tinted tail lights.

There is more I am working on still. Updates to come as progress continues. Enjoy all

Wow, Those tires are actually pretty good... they remind me just a little of the creepy clawlers.

I don't envy the Eastern rust problems you guys get, but good job on the tailgate.

Tires are 32x11.5 hankook dynapro mts. The cladding and rear bumper are getting done in bedliner.

What'd the amsoil filter/prefilter run you if you don't mind me asking?

I got mine by pure luck on ebay but I don't remember the price. Some guy bought it for a project that he scraped. It was the exact one I was looking for so I picked it up.

PM Ridin' Around, he will be able to hook you up.

Do you by any chance have a picture of the tail lights tinted? I want to see the combo of the bedliner on the hatch and the tinted tails

Yeah, here both of you go . It is kind of hard to see the difference in color because the green is so dark. I wasn't sure if I should have done the lights this way or MoonyJohns way.
