It's probably adaptive evolution: Where the Jeepers all adapt to the idiosyncracies of their machines. Also, a bit of self-preservation.
OK. Return to your regularly-scheduled broadcast.

when you stomp on it at 35 mph and it goes into first for about 1/10 of a second
when you can tell at what point after starting it you will hear your vaccum lines
when reading on jeepforum makes you want more and more to have 4.10's (i just can't get over how slow it is off the line)
when you win off the line because it doesnt have enough power to spin the tires
when you look at the evic and it says avg mpg is 12.7
when the gas tank runs down to empty and you hope that after you calculate your mileage that there are still two or three gallons left in the tank
when you correct someone when they say is your jeep all wheel drive
when you wish you had the 4.7 ho

when your filling up at the gas station bragging to yourself but also complaining at the same time that your gas tanks 23 gallons. then later you think "wtf good is 23 gallons when i get 15mpg and 250 miles on a tank?"

...something breaks you can either A) immediately recognize which part broke and how long it takes to repair or B) know which website you can post to get some help regarding it, and quickly. JeepForum

Still trying to figure out why you guys complain about your fuel mileage. I am on my third grand now, and I am averaging 16 city/22 HWY, just like both my 4.0L's did.
My current Grand is a 98 5.9 Limited, and even checking my mileage tonight I averaged we got 22.5 MPG.
You know your driving a Grand when you can turn around in a tighter circle then your go-kart will turn!
You know your driving a 5.9 Limited, when a friend is following you and keeps asking you to slow down because their car can't keep up.

You know you drive Grand when your trans starts leaking fluid so bad that your buddy brings a B-Hobby race car trailer and some how it magically fits on there

My daily is a chevy sitting on 35's. I know all about lifted trucks. I still don't see why everyone complains. If you lift a truck it is a given that mileage will be effected. This is the only website I ever see people complaining about it.
Given my driving style, and truck setup, my chevy got better mileage with the taller tires. My last jeep I lifted wasn't effected at all as I did a lift and gear change at the same time, seemed to balance itself out. The speedo was even right!

I actually still get the same mileage as I did when I was stock on 235/75R15. I got 15.5 then, now I get about 15-15.5 lol, but im much much slower on the freeway.

.....When you tend to drive left of center to make your steering wheel sit closer to 12 o'clock
.....When you pass another GC and give your passenger a run down of the options it had
.....When you get back in your GC from driving another car, and swerve all over the road due to your steering rack, and you get a violent reminder of how bad your brakes really are
.....When you use any excuse you can to drive over/through gigantic snow banks....."But honey, i wanted to get you home in time for your show......honey......honey?
