Friggin uber blizzard hit today. I'll have pics later. I don't know when I'll get to wheel. It's too bad out to go play. I'll wait for the dangerous part to pass. It's crazy. I was out helping people get unstuck, but never got to be the two vehicle. This was outside the newspaper I work at. Everyone who was leaving couldn't get out. I offered to give them rides home, but only one took me up on the offer, and only after she'd had her Torrent towed out of its parking place, pushed down the road, then pushed out of being stuck, then finally pushed back to a parking space when she couldn't get 2 feet. 2wd crap. I cruised along taking her home, and my rear tires are BALD! I was worried about that, but eh, I still manage. I can just break free if I go too fast as the rear loses traction. 10mph is as fast as I can go. LOL

It's crazy here. Major snowfall for the Texas Panhandle. It's not letting up either. I need a police scanner and a tow strap, and I could go out and rescue people, too. But stock is not worth it. I'd end up stuck eventually. Especially with those tires. Oh, and my tow rope is crap. So a real strap would be needed. I bet that thing would snap. Wally World special.

Pics later. Off to enjoy the snow now, even if I just stare out the window at it...

We got about 3" dumped on us this morning in southwestern CT. We were supposed to get a few flurries in the afternoon, but got 3" between about 6:30 AM and 10 AM. It snowed a bit more after as well.

We've got insane snow, and it's still snowing. My sister is out of town and needed me to go check on her animals, a dog is out in it, and make sure they're all right and have water, etc. While turning off the street onto the side-street she lives on I got high-centered. No lift is just not right for a Jeep. I wish I had the money to invest in one. My tires are not helping matters any either. The worst part...a Hummer pulled me out. Yeah, so I've gotta give 'em props. It was pretty cool of the guy. The snow had drifted in the intersection, and I just couldn't get through. I was in 4-Low... It sucked majorly. Talk about embarrassing. Half turned in the intersection, my tail out in the street.

No pics. Ha! Like I was going to take time to take some. But I got other pics I've gotta get my camera to transfer to my computer. Which is flippin out and needs a reboot. Great. See ya all on the flip side. Pics by tomorrow at least. Darned technology. My computer doesn't like the SD card I have so I have trouble getting pics off it.

I've got some proof of snow in Texas too. These are from today.

Quite a bit of ice as well. Had several tree limbs snap off already. You can see some piles in the first and third pics.

I heard on the news tonight that we might be seeing a good bit of snow this weekend. Only time will tell I guess.

I'm surprised you Ohio folks haven't seen any yet. Figured yall would get the snow systems right after us.

Here are just a few. None of them that special other than that they're my Jeep in the snow.
