Yes, it snows in Texas

I've had people ask me derisively how much snow I see in Texas. Well, here are some pics to prove that it does indeed snow where I live. Enjoy. Oh, and the Jeep is in one pic. I wish I had more. I can't wait for it to snow here again.

That's a pretty good amount of snow. Haven't seen a lick here in this part of Indiana. The temps haven't even gone below 40 really.

It "snowed" all the way down here last year. People were going crazy.

Looks like all you have is fog and drifting snow that came down from Colorado

No, no. You all, I knew I should've defined this better. This was from a blizzard we had last March. We've not had any snow that's stuck yet this year. This post is just wishful thinking. I want snow like that again. Heck, if we had snow like this, do you all think I'd be wasting time on JF?

A winter storm warning is in effect for my area until Friday morning. I'm hoping for some good snowfall so I can finally wheel a bit. Unfortunately, I need new tires. Drat. I lowered the PSI in the rears, which have the least tread, to help me out a little at least. We'll see how it goes.

I hope to have pics to post tomorrow or Friday. If not then, the weekend. Come on snow, where ya at?

We are expecting the same storm here. Filled up tonight and went to the store to get food cause we are all out.

Tomorrow you won't be able to get gas or go into a Walmart/food store because everyone will be losing there mind thinking the world is ending.

That's the thing about snowstorms that irks me. We're in America. We're not going to run out of food or have civilization end if it snows a little. People in snow-prone areas deal with this stuff for 6+ months a year and manage. Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE has or knows someone that has a 4x4. I roll my eyes when I hear co-workers freaking out and tell them all I'll give them a ride to work if they're scared to try themselves. But I told them I only have room for so many.

They'd better dial fast, because I only have so many spaces, and when they fill up. Wait, they could always ride on the roof! Now where are my bungees? Safety first!

No Walmart here, btw. I live in a small town. I'm sure everyone already hit the grocery store we do have tonight in anticipation.

Come on snow. Get here already. Keep the morons home.
