YERFDOG’s White 5.9 Build/Picture Thread

On June 3, 2010 I purchased a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited with 80,000 miles for $5000. I have been looking for a 5.9 Jeep for a long time and finally found the right one. I will be keeping this thread updated with modifications and whatever I do to the Jeep. I am a senior in high school so this won't be a fast paced build. But I will make this Jeep legit! This thread will have a lot of pictures because I love to take them!

It was time for the Jeep to hit puberty so I took it to "Johnny Franklins Mufflers" to get a Flowmaster Super 44 installed.

The Jeep was pretty dirty, so I thought it was time for a bath

Next install was a K&N Cold Air Intake. Very happy with it, and I can really feel the power. Install was easy, plus it gave the engine compartment such a cleaner look, and I'm sure the Jeep appreciates the extra air . Sorry for the terrible pictures stupid cell phone.

I looked at the AEM intakes, but I decided to go with the K&N. A lot of people on the forum went with the K&N and were happy with it so I went with it.

Accel 8.8 Silicone Plus - Spiral Core - RFI Suppression

These were on the Jeep when I bought it so I honestly don't know too much about them.

Here's a picture of the tint from the inside. It shows the differences in the tint darkness.
