Just ordered all the hardware from ruff stuff to build my 3 link front
last night i managed to get the front 6.5" coils and shocks installed. ill do the rears when i get some more time off from work. i took it for a quick spin down the road with just the front set up and the OME HDs in the rear i expected short arms with 6.5" of lift to be much worse on the road then it was. then again it might help that the Cs on my front end were cut and turned by skain8 to correct castor. over all im happy with the ride of the IRO coils and the Procomp 9000 shocks.

i used the jeep quite a bit on my last set of days off. we got about a foot of snow and my 8k lb. truck is helpless.
i even got the chance to get a few buddies together and do some night time snow wheeling to a spot we like to go.
well. its been a while since i have really done anything to the jeep. I've been working like crazy and have been out of town for quite a while. I did manage to stumble across a killer deal on a set of axles. Thursday I'll be picking up a Dana 60 front and a Ford 10.25 rear from a 95 F-350. The deal was too good to pass up and I've been in search for a front end for a while anyway. They are loaded from hub to hub with brakes and everything and came right out of a truck that the guy drove to his house before tearing it down. The plan is a lunchbox locker front, welded rear, and either 5.13s or 5.38s. at this point this is cheaper than finishing the 9 and a whole lot stronger. plus i can bolt on Hummer wheels and tires no problem which saves a ton of $$$. ill update this with pics at the end of the week when i have the axles in hand. on that note ill have a bunch of ford 9" stuff up for sale if anyone is interested

What are your plans to bring the steering geometry back to normal?
i just plan on making my own track bar and drag link so they stay as parallel as possible. most likely running the tie rod on top of the fords factory steering arms and using ruffstuff's y link kit with GM 1ton TREs http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/YLINK.html
I got some days off finally and the weather has been nice so I got some work done on the jeep.

But I finally got around to finishing the rear trim on the passenger side. It started to rain about 10 seconds after I started painting but I didn't let it stop me
I also continued on my cross member + link mounts for my long arms that are in the making.
I got a new battery for my trusty steed so I can enjoy some of this warm weather.
Then on Sunday after some light wheeling Saturday night I got to load up the Tow pig. I had to pull a friends JK home and he let me use the trailer to pick up another truck that a family friend was giving away. specs on the truck are 1995 GMC 3500 6.5L Turbo Diesel 4x4, 5 speed, power everything. I'm not sure what to do with the truck, I guess Ill see what happens when its up and running. It needs a little work to be road worthy.
I have had some trouble with getting mud and water into my factory intake because the "snorkel" that goes from the box to the grill has been missing for years now. I have been looking around for intake ideas and I came up with this from a wrangler intake that I saw, When I started doing research on it I found that Sprectre sells a CAI kit that runs into the Cowl for the TJ. All the parts are Spectre universal pieces. I had to use a piece of foam behind the mounting plate because the firewall is not exactly flat. Everything worked out great and I only had to trim a half inch off of the 90* tube. my only complaint is that it is a little loud and it does have the Ricer WOOOOSHHHH sound to it but at least it will stay dry.
