bump for the build thread.
I ordered a lighted plate frame from genright to keep me legal when I move the plate. also ordered a CB, coax, and antenna from walcottcb.com
$105 shipped for a cobra 19dxiv a 18' coax and a 3ft Wilson flex antenna.
I patched up my rockers and sprayed them with black bedliner in a can lol for state inspection tomorrow.
hopefully ill start building my tire carrier soon. I want to get it done before the sliders so I can free up some trunk space. Ive got a geology trip to VA this weekend and wont be able to work on the jeep at all. on a good note graduation is the 19th of may. that should free up alot of time for the jeep lol also working full time should really provide some $$$$$
awesome build so far, really moving along quickly! you have anymore pics of how you did the mounts for your light bar? really interested in how you set that up, like to do something similar. Maybe just some details if no pics, thanks.

Directly in from the "feet" on the bar is a mounting hole for the roof rack. Its just a flat piece of steel with 2 holes in it. I had to shave down the plastic so the steel was far enough down keep the rail level. Pretty simple really.
Working on the tire carrier as i can. Been busy with work and school. Just got the latch for it today. Gotta kinda slow down with the jeep I've gotta pay for summer classes so i can graduate this summer Going to try to work on the carrier this weekend. Also put my cb in and got the coax in. Just have to run the wires to it. Sliders are on hold for a while. And radius arms are in the plans for summer.
busy weekend for the jeep. i fixed the squeak in the TB by adding grease fittings to it
next i ditched my 3/4 spacers. it seems to ride a little better but who knows. ive got a mysterious pull to the right now. im not sure whats going on i checked all my joints and bearings, i even readjusted my TB. and its still pulling. i may resort to just adjusting the passenger side arms out a hair to correct it. after it was back together i climbed a little hill behind the house for fun just to if everything was still working
i added some gussets on the carrier to beef it up a little and burned the arm onto the bearing housing
this evening i cut the holes in my bumper and test fit the main bar for the carrier. ill probably build the latch setup later this week. im trying to get it done before i go on my field camp out west.
any advice on my right hand pull would be appreciated lol
